This event aims to create awareness among the aspiring entrepreneurs as to what it takes to build a world-class organization. The panel discussion will feature entrepreneurs, all of whom have seen the tumultuous startup days and have managed to transform themselves into world class enterprises. Together they will bring to fore the challenges, fun and team work that goes into this metamorphosis.

Ashank Desai is the Founder and Non-Executive Director of Mastek Software (http://www.mastek.com), one among the top 15 software exporters in India.

Mr. Desai is a leading light of the IT industry in India. He is the founder member and ex-President of National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM). He has also been the Vice President of ASOCIO (Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation). He is the only Indian to be presented with the Honourable Contributor's Award for his outstanding contribution to ASOCIO's growth in 1994.

Mr. Desai, M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai and MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award by IIT, Mumbai for his contribution to the society as a software entrepreneur.

Avnish Bajaj is a Founding Managing Director of Matrix Partners India - a $150MM multi-sector, multi-stage domestic consumer services investment fund in India. Previously he was a co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Baazee.com which was acquired by eBay.Prior to Baazee, Avi was an Investment Banker with the Goldman Sachs in New York and San Francisco. He was also a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. and started his career with Apple Computer in the Bay Area.

Avi Currently serves on the Board of Matrix India investment in India's largest Chinese fast food chain Yo! China ,India's first and largest broadband out-of-home digital advertising media network vJive Networks and Indian travel portal Cleartrip. He is also an investor and advisor to Legal Outsourcing Leader Pangea3, Search Marketing Company Pinstorm and Bio Sciences Company Indus Biotech.He is the Vice Chairman, Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), is a member of CII's National Ecommerce Committee and FICCI's IT Taskforce.

Avi is a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School, WARF Fellow from University of Wisconsin - Madison and a Top Ranked Graduate in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
